NFT

NFT (Nutrient Film Technique) involves a shallow film of nutrient solution constantly re-circulating past the roots of the plant by an oxygenating pump.  Active hydro will produce yields of up to 4 times greater than plants grown in soil.  Designed and manufacted in UK by Nutriculture from robust, recycled plastic, NFT systems are the simplest and therefore easiest to use hydroponics. Favours the use of smaller more numerous plants as there is little structural support given for the roots.
